Award Winning Photography
Charles David Photography Ltd is proud to present the award winning image opposite. Taken by photographer Christopher Ley and entitled "Who's gonna drive you home tonight?", the image won the Brotherhoods Cup at Peterborough Photographic Society 2010 and also the Joe Fuller trophy at March Camera Club.
The image was captured on the streets of Acapulco and has not been staged in any way. It was taken with a Canon Powershot S70 camera and has only been manipulated to achieve a gritty monochromatic effect.
The sad story encapsulated in this photograph perhaps also reflects other scenes being acted out nearer to our own homes some nights?
