Before you ask any wedding photographer for a quotation it is helpful if you have thought about what you want beforehand. Consider how many photographers you need; for example to photograph the bride and groom preparing usually needs two. Also how long do you want the photography to continue? It is now not unusual to continue through the day until the First Dance so you may need to consider asking for eight hours of photography.
The next important consideration is what you would like to have afterwards. A wedding album, coffee-table style photo-albums, personalised 'Thank-You' cards, photographs for the newspapers, processed print-ready digital files (jpegs)?
If you have a fairly clear idea of your requirements it is much easier to provide your quotation which will be based on the time and travel involved, and what you would like to order afterwards. Even better just make an appointment to come and see us to discuss your plans.
