Weddings usually take a lot of planning and it is advisable to book your photography early on. Most clients contact us about 12 months in advance and, if they decide to proceed, pay a 30% retainer fee to ensure that the date is theirs.
We are available throughout the year but popular times get booked quickly and we only plan one wedding on one day. However, short-notice bookings are possible and have become a little more common recently - as have winter weddings.
Whilst it can be quite exciting organising things at short notice it is generally better to plan well ahead and we feel that booking the photography should be high on your list of things to do. If you wanted to provisionally reserve a date but meet several photographers we are happy to hold that date for 21 days (and let you know if someone else enquires about the same day before taking their booking).
